Murray has an MA in New Testament from Talbot School of Theology and a PhD in biblical studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. He has held adjunct faculty positions at Biola University, Hope International University, Asbury Theological Seminary, Wesley Seminary, Wesley Biblical Seminary, and Indiana Wesleyan University. Prior to entering the world of biblical studies, Murray worked as a mechanical engineer in the space industry. He currently lives in Indiana with his lovely wife and two rambunctious boys.
